In June of 2024, the Patriot Sporting Challenge, an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charitable organization based in Northeast Texas, completed its sixth annual event, the “Lake Fork Challenge,” which involved a unique sporting event made up of golf, fishing, and casino games. Our goal every year is to have fun while raising funds to support our veterans and first responders.
Patriot Sporting Challenge has accepted the mission to honor the sacrifices of our military veterans and first responders. These heroes have given their all and their families have suffered an incredible loss. There is no more noble cause than to provide these families with the financial help and support needed, for their children and/or themselves. By aiding these families, we are building for the future of our nation, paying it forward if you will so that the dreams of our fallen or severely wounded heroes can become a reality. Because of unbelievable support from all around Texas and the nation, we so far have raised over $1 million and have awarded in excess of $833,000 to the following: the Folds of Honor Foundation which provides educational scholarships, Heroes Ranch which provides an outdoor rehabilitation experience for the disabled, They Got Your 6, Camp Agape, and other military and first responder organizations. Only by working together can we continue to make this happen.
Our goals for 2025’s event to be held May 31 will not change, and we expect to conduct an even more rewarding “Lake Fork Challenge” to exceed our goal of raising $1,250,000 for our great causes over our 7 years of events.
