In April of 2022, the Patriot Sporting Challenge, an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charitable organization based in Northeast Texas, completed its fourth annual event, the “Lake Fork Challenge,” which involves a unique sporting event made up of golf, fishing, and casino games. Our goal every year is to raise funds for the Folds of Honor Foundation which gives scholarships to the families of killed or severely wounded American military veterans. With unbelievable support from all around Texas, we have awarded in excess of $400,000 to the Folds of Honor in our 4 years of conducting this event.

Patriot Sporting Challenge has accepted the mission to honor the sacrifices of our military veterans and first responders. These heroes have given their all and their families have suffered an incredible loss. We are building for the future of our nation, paying it forward if you will so that the dreams of our fallen or severely wounded heroes can become a reality. There is no more noble cause than to provide these families left behind with the financial help and support needed to achieve their children’s educational goals. These children are our future. They are tomorrow’s heroes and the protectors of our freedoms that we all hold so very dearly. In addition, we now have a partnership arrangement with an additional outstanding supportive veteran and first responder organization, Heroes Ranch, working in the area of rehabilitating our heroes who have been severely injured physically and/or mentally. Working together we all can make this happen.

Our goals for this year’s event to be held June 3rd will not change, and we expect to conduct an even more rewarding “Lake Fork Challenge” to exceed our goal of raising $500,000 for our two great causes over our 5 years of events.
